Peterson’s first children’s book Oh, Maya! helps kids and parents navigate anxiety through the beloved character of Maya the anxious dog. In this episode he discusses how the story came to life through working with his own son and his dog Maya, and how important it is to support children with anxiety. CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I) is all about rewiring your sleep habits so your brain learns that bed = sleep. 🛏️✨

✅ Get out of bed if you can’t sleep
✅ Stick to a wake-up time (yes, even on weekends!)
✅ Try the “Paradoxical Intention” trick – stop trying to sleep and let it happen naturally
