Wyatt James, AKC CGC Clinical Canine Associate Wyatt is a trained therapy dog who specializes in emotional regulation, trauma support, and hope building. He has worked with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as clients navigating aspects of neurodivergence, and people experiencing anxiety and depression. Wyatt also works on Lukin Center’s social media team, and has his own weekly post: Wyatt Wednesdays! Wyatt works gently and quietly, offering unconditional regard, care, and interest in his clients. He loves his time in session, and gains as much as he gives. Wyatt has swiftly aided clients engaged in traumatic flashbacks, helped others to emotionally regulate when they were in crisis, and created a sense of safety for those who have experienced little safety in their past and present. Wyatt is credited as a Canine Good Citizen through the American Kennel Club (AKC CGC), and continues further trainings and education throughout each year.
