Carrie Fogel, LCSW, PMH-C is a psychotherapist specializing in treating anxiety, depression, relationship/ family conflicts, life transition, and perinatal/postpartum mood and anxiety disorders.   

Carrie Fogel is a compassionate psychotherapist dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s most significant transitions and stressors. While she holds a deep specialization in perinatal mental health, Carrie’s clinical foundation extends to treating anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and the complexities of diverse life stages.

Carrie is Perinatal Mental Health-Certified (PMH-C), having completed extensive training through Postpartum Support International (PSI). She provides expert care for the entire reproductive continuum, including navigating infertility, pregnancy loss, birth trauma and the decision to conceive. Additionally, Carrie treats postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, as well as the shift of identity as parents process the emotional and relational changes that come with a growing family.

Throughout her career in outpatient and educational settings, Carrie has developed a unique versatility in treating a broad range of life stressors. She is highly experienced in supporting clients through an assortment of life stressors including anxiety, depression, OCD, relationship struggles, family conflict, parenting challenges, women’s issues, behavioral disorders, substance abuse and developmental disabilities.  

 Carrie’s approach is rooted in warmth and non-judgmental respect. She believes the therapeutic alliance is the foundation of growth and tailors her methods to each client’s individual needs. By integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic modalities, she helps clients develop positive coping skills, gain deeper self-insight, and achieve lasting, desired changes.

Carrie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan and her Master’s degree from the Columbia University School of Social Work, with a concentration in clinical social work. Her diverse background allows her to offer a supportive, evidence-based space where all clients can build resilience and reach their mental health goals.
